Manitou - Spirit Bear Cub
Manitou is an adorable little Spirit bear cub, otherwise known as a Kermode bear for their rare pale colouring. Manitou is made from a gorgeous soft dense plush in an off white sand tinted colour, synthetic mini bear fabric paw pads that have been sculpted and shaded and Ultrasuede inner mouth and tongue. Manitou's arms and legs have wire armature for stability and some posability. Manitou has German glass eyes, is 5-way jointed, stuffed with wool, polyester fibres and crushed garnet for a lovely weighted finish. His nose has been hand embroidered and waxed and his face has been needle and scissor sculpted. Many hours of work have gone into creating Manitou.
Manitou comes with his own little fish friend, hand crafted from mini bear fabric and Ultrasuede, embroidered eyes and mouth.
Manitou has been designed to sit with paws on the floor.
The name Manitou means Spirit or Mystery in Native American Algonquin.
